Welcome to the alp of Emaney, our lovely alpine pasture in the hearth of the mountains!
Located between the mountain lakes of Salanfe and Emosson, Emaney is the perfect place for a short break during your hike.
From the alpine village of Les Marécottes, it is a two hours hike up to the alpine pasture, where we produce since more than forty years an authentic cheese.

06th of June 2011 - This is (soon) the Inalp!
The fields are already green, with beautiful flowers growing everywhere! This is more than time for us to move on: the Inalp will take place on the 15th of June.
and this years, this is not two, but four yaks that will spent and, hopefully, sunny summer on the Alp. And, of course, cows, pigs and chicken will also join us!

Two days before the cows, our four (yes: four! The herd is growing...) yaks walked up to the green fields of the Alps. Well, as you may imagine, yaks are not afraid by a short journey in the mountains... They even like it!

23th of September 2011 - Desalpe
After 3 months in the mountains, cows, goats, yaks and pigs will go down to the flat lowlands.
The Alp will be closed until next summer.
